Abstract

Based on the District/City Health Profile report, the number of maternal deaths in the last 3 years was found to fluctuate, namely 205 deaths in 2018, and 200 deaths in 2019. If the number of maternal deaths is converted to the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR), then the MMR is obtained in the Province Aceh in 2019 was 71.96 per 100,000 live births. The purpose of this study is to provide continuous midwifery care or comprehensive Continuity Of Care to Mrs. K from pregnant women, maternity, postpartum, and family planning by using a midwifery management approach with the SOAP method. This type of research is descriptive with a case study method or approach. The case study was conducted at the Midwife Practice of Naimah Wanara, Aceh, starting from August 2020 to April 2021. The subjects in this study were Mrs. K G1 P0 A0 8 weeks gestational age up to family planning acceptors. After carrying out a case study of continuous care (COC) on Mrs. K from pregnancy to postpartum and family planning as well as BBL care, where Ny. K including physiological pregnancy, delivery of Mrs. K is spontaneous vaginally with grade I perineal wound (because Ms. K is primiparous). The puerperal period of Mrs. K involution proceeded normally, the baby Mrs. K is normal, there is weight gain according to age, there is no infection in the umbilical cord and the baby is exclusively breastfeeding. It is recommended to the Practice Midwife Sedi Agustina Simbolon to maintain the quality of midwifery services or care for pregnant women, maternity, newborns, and perform midwifery care in accordance with existing theory.
