PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PIJAT OKSITOSIN TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PRODUKSI ASI PADA IBU NIFAS DI PUSKESMAS PANGKALAN BRANDAN TAHUN 2021
Abstract
Breast milk production can be influenced by two factors, namely production and expenditure. Breast milk production is influenced by the hormone proylactin, while production is influenced by the hormone oxytocin. The initial survey conducted on postpartum mothers at the Pangkalan Brandan Health Center, from 10 mothers stated that 7 mothers did not exclusively breastfeed their babies, meaning that they were given additional formula because they felt their breast milk was not enough. Postpartum at the Pangkalan Brandan Health Center in 2021. Based on the oxytocin massage performed, the majority of postpartum mothers did oxytocin massage twice a day as many as 28 people (70%). Based on the smoothness of breastfeeding, the majority of postpartum mothers have smooth breast milk, as many as 18 people (45%). There is an Effect of Oxytocin Massage on Smooth Breastfeeding in Postpartum Mothers at Pangkalan Brandan Health Center in 2021 with p value < 0.05 (p = 0.000). Most of the knowledge of postpartum mothers about childbirth is good knowledge as many as 31 people (57.4%). There is a relationship between age and knowledge of postpartum mothers with anxiety during childbirth at the Bunda Dewi Clinic, Serdang Bedagai Regency in 2021. There is no parity relationship with postpartum maternal anxiety during childbirth at the Bunda Dewi Clinic, Serdang Bedagai Regency in 2021. Oxytocin massage can increase milk production in postpartum mothers at the Pangkalan Brandan Health Center in 2021. It is recommended for postpartum mothers to do oxytocin massage so that breast milk is smooth and can provide exclusive breastfeeding or good intake needs.
