Hubungan Pengetahuan dan Sikap Remaja Dalam Mengatasi Dismenorea

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is pain during menstruation caused by an imbalance of the hormone progesterone in the blood, prostaglandins and stress or psychology. The incidence rate in Indonesia is estimated that 55 percent of women of reproductive age experience pain during menstruation. The incidence (prevalence) of menstrual pain ranges from 45 until 95 percent among women of reproductive age which results in the absence of repeat lectures for female students. Dysmenorrhea??"s treatment is not only pharmacological but there are non-pharmacological ways. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of teenagers to solved dysmenorrhoea. The research was conducted in Desember 2020 at Midwiferies Students. This research use Quantitative research methods. This type of descriptive analytic research with cross sectional design, sampling technique use purposive sampling and data analysis using the chi square test. The sample size is 33 teenagers. Results There is a significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes of teenagers to solved dysmenorrhoea Sig. (2-sided) is 0.000 which means that the value is (p less than 0.05). It is recommended that teenagers should increase their knowledge about the management of dysmenorrhoea.
